Wedding planner FAQ’s

Why do I need a wedding planner?

Whether you are a DIY bride, have no clue where to start, or are somewhere in between, a wedding planner takes the stress of an event off of you and your family and allows you to be present for every moment of your special day as well as the months leading up to it. Instead of you being the contact for the endless amount of questions that arise, I answer all questions, coordinate the inevitable day of changes, help grandma with her GPS, and anything and everything in between all while you pop the champagne with your friends while getting ready!

What's the difference between a wedding planner and a venue coordinator?

A venue coordinator is just that; venue coordination. Their number one priority is to manage the venue operations.  As your planner, my first priority is you. A wedding has countless moving parts and as your wedding planner, my job is to bridge the gap between all the vendors so that you are not the one that is working on your wedding day. I also offer day of wedding coordination services.

How early should couples start to plan their wedding and hire a planner?

There are two things you need to do at the very start of the planning process to avoid stress later on; know your budget and decide what aspects are important to you. This is where my years of experience come into play- I will walk you through this process and be with you every step of the way. Every wedding is different and requires anywhere from a month to plan to years of planning. The best thing you can do is find a wedding planner as soon as possible to ensure your day is exactly how you’ve always dreamt it would be.

Do you travel for destination weddings?

Absolutely! Where you go, I go! Inquire and we can work out the details! We love planning for weddings in Jamaica, Mexico and Italy.

What if we decide to change our date?

The deposits you make are to you, not your date! If the inevitable happens your deposits will be transferred to your new date at no additional cost.
